There are updates to the COVID-19 Testing: Nursing Home Reporting Portal where reimbursement requests for CARES Act funding under Secretarial Orders No. 2 and No. 4 were submitted. The portal has been updated with an enhanced view of Financial and Testing submissions for participating providers.
Facility points of contact/submitters have access to retrieve historical information for their own reconciliation purposes. Please note that submissions for CARES Act funding concluded on June 14, 2021. All submissions occurring after this date were not accepted or processed for reimbursement.
Steps to retrieve historical information:
- On the COVID-19: Nursing Home Reporting Landing Page, the user may search for a specific case submission using the search bar.
- To view a complete history of testing and financial submissions, users may click on "facility's submission history" within the informational paragraph on the landing page.

It also updates the original end date communication under Special Bulletin COVID-19 #129 Reporting Requirements and Financial Support to Nursing Homes under Secretarial Order No. 2.
SPECIAL BULLETIN COVID-19 #157: Final Reconciliation of Nursing Home Staff Testing Payments Authorized Under Secretarial Orders 2 and 4: NC Medicaid initiated its final phase of reconciling projected versus actual testing cost submission activity for nursing home staff testing payments authorized under Secretarial Orders 2 and 4 on March 1, 2021.
