Dear Colleagues,

Following the information given in [IGSMAIL-8238]<https://lists.igs.org/pipermail/igsmail/2022/008234.html>, please note that the date the IGS intends to switch from IGb14/igs14.atx to IGS20/igs20.atx and the repro3 standards is now postponed to the start of GPS week 2238, 27 November 2022 (as opposed to the previous date of 2 October, GPS week 2230). The decision to postpone the switch was made following the feedback received from users and consultation with the IGS Analysis Centres, and will allow an additional time to prepare for the switch.

Consequently, the test products based on IGS20/igs20.atx and the repro3 standards will be available for an extended period before the switch (GPS weeks 2222 - 2237; 7 August - 26 November 2022).

Please note the following:

1)     As previously indicated, the switch to the new long file names will occur at the same time as the transition to the IGS20/igs20.atx;

2)     All IGS products, including final, rapid and ultra-rapid products, will be transitioned to IGS20/igs20.atx and long filenames;

3)     Test products (for IGS final product line) have already started to become available in ftp://igs-rf.ign.fr/pub/igs20_tests/${wwww} and https://cddis.nasa.gov/archive/gnss/products/${wwww}/igs20/<https://cddis.nasa.gov/archive/gnss/products/$%7bwwww%7d/igs20/> where ${wwww} refers to GPS week. Please note that the 4th character in the long file names relates to the version/solution identifier (http://acc.igs.org/repro3/Long_Product_Filenames_v1.0.pdf). Generally for the IGS products, a resubmission of a product will have a higher version identifier in its file name; therefore, it is advised to always use the highest available version of any of the files, unless specifically advised otherwise;

4) Starting soon and before the date of final switch, the test products will be also available for rapid and ultra-rapid products. This will allow users to adapt their software for the new rapid and ultra-rapid products as well. Details of the location of these products will be advised accordingly.

For further details regarding the transition, please refer to [IGSMAIL-8238]<https://lists.igs.org/pipermail/igsmail/2022/008234.html>, and feel free to contact:

* salim.masoumi at ga.gov.au for questions related to the orbit/clock products,

Best Regards,
Salim Masoumi, Paul Rebischung, Arturo Villiger, Tom Herring
