Heavy rain threat prompts flood watches in the South: Heavy rain and gusty winds are the biggest threats through the Southeast through Saturday. Storms are currently moving through southern Georgia and northern Florida.
One possible tornado damaged homes and trees in Dale County, Alabama, near the town of Echo, early Saturday. Another tornado touched down 20 miles west of Waycross, Georgia, Saturday afternoon.
