image - Anker 535 Power Bank (PowerCore 20K) A1366 Product Recall
Anker Innovations Initiate Replacement Program for “22D51” Batch of Detachable Battery for Powered Cooler

We have discovered that some of the lithium-ion batteries used in the Anker EverFrost Powered Cooler series may pose a fire safety risk due to a manufacturing defect. We have identified that 0.04% of these battery cells, originating from a single production batch with the product code “22D51”, were produced during the week of December 19, 2022.

Although only a small number of batteries may be affected by this issue, out of an abundance of caution, we are reaching out to customers to initiate a targeted recall of the affected batteries.

If you currently own any of the following EverFrost models, we ask that you immediately stop using this product and follow the steps outlined in this email.

Affected Products:
Anker EverFrost 30 Powered Cooler (A17A0)
Anker EverFrost 40 Powered Cooler (A17A1)
Anker EverFrost 50 Powered Cooler (A17A2)
Anker Detachable Battery for Powered Cooler (A17B0)

Before submitting a warranty claim, please check if your product meets the following conditions, as it may not be necessary to submit a claim:
1. Latest Version Confirmation: lf the carton and outer box (top surface) of your newly purchased Powered Cooler is marked with a 'latest version' label, your product is already equipped with the updated features, and a warranty claim for the battery issue is not applicable.
2. Purchase Date: lf you bought a powered cooler after December 6, 2023, it already features the updated battery design and is not susceptible to the issues covered in the warranty claim.
What To Do:

1. Immediately stop using or charging your cooler
2. Unplug the AC adapter for the cooler
3. Remove the battery pack from the cooler and turn it off by following these instructions:

Step 1. Hold down the latch at the battery pack location and remove the cover.
Step 2. Use both hands to grab the battery pack handle from the bottom to remove the battery pack.
Step 3. Hold the button for at least 3 seconds until the 4 LED lights flash once.
Step 4. Hold the button again for at least 3 seconds until the 4 LED lights flash once.
Step 5. Briefly press the button again. The third LED will flash.
Step 6. Briefly press the button once again. The second LED will flash.
Step 7. Hold the button for at least 3 seconds until the 4 LED lights flash once.
Step 8. Wait for 15 seconds. The device will shut down, and all LEDs will turn off. Press button twice briefly to confirm the shutdown worked.
